Terms and Conditions for My Travel Jeanne

 

These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern the relationship between My Travel Jeanne ("we," "us," or "our") and you, the purchaser and/or traveler ("Client" or "you"). By engaging our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms, which may limit your rights and remedies and provide protections to MTJ.

 

1. TRAVEL DOCUMENTS: Upon receiving your travel documents, you agree to promptly review them for accuracy. If there are any discrepancies, you must notify MTJ within twenty-four (24) hours. The names on your documents must match your government-issued ID. MTJ is not liable for any additional costs incurred due to necessary corrections.

 

2. AGENT FOR SUPPLIERS: MTJ acts as a booking agent for various service providers (e.g. airlines, hotels, car rental companies, tour operators, cruise lines) named in your itinerary. As independent entities, these suppliers operate under their own management, and you agree to review and accept their respective terms and conditions. MTJ is not liable for any acts or omissions by these suppliers, including service failures, cancellations, financial defaults, or any other issues beyond our control.

 

3. RISKS OF TRAVEL & RELEASE: You acknowledge that travel involves certain risks and that MTJ cannot control the actions of third-party suppliers. As such, MTJ disclaims liability for any personal injury, property damage, or other losses that may occur during your travel. You expressly assume all risks associated with travel and agree to release MTJ from any claims related to these risks.

 

4. FOREIGN ENTRY: It is your responsibility to ensure that all travelers in your party meet the entry requirements (e.g., passports, visas, vaccinations) for your destination and connecting points. MTJ is not liable for any costs, damages, or losses resulting from failure to meet these requirements or from hazardous conditions at your destination.

 

5. FEES& PRICE DROP: You agree to pay all applicable fees for travel planning, changes, and other services. MTJ's fees are non-refundable. If a supplier reduces the price of a trip after booking, MTJ will assist with rebooking, if possible, but a fee may apply. MTJ does not guarantee refunds or successful rebooking.

 

6. PRICE INCREASES: Travel arrangements involving airlines or cruises may be subject to price increases after booking due to supplier or government changes. You consent to such increases and authorize your credit or debit card to cover them. You may be bound by the supplier's contracts, which may include cancellation penalties and other terms, even if you do not receive notice of these terms.

 

7. RESERVATION RULE VIOLATIONS: You agree not to purchase airline tickets with unused segments (e.g., "hidden city" or "back-to-back" tickets). Airlines generally prohibit such practices, and you acknowledge these restrictions.

 

8. INSURANCE: We strongly recommend purchasing travel insurance for your protection. Most policies exclude coverage for epidemics and pandemics. MTJ makes no guarantees regarding insurance coverage and is not liable for any denied claims. You agree to hold MTJ harmless if you choose not to purchase travel insurance or if a claim is denied.

 

9. CREDIT CARD MERCHANT: If MTJ processes your payment as the credit card merchant, our role is limited to facilitating the transaction and remitting funds to the suppliers. In the event of supplier failure, your recourse is solely with the supplier, and you agree not to initiate a chargeback against MTJ.

 

10. DISPUTES: These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Minnesota. You consent to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in [Hennepin County, Minnesota] (https://www.hennepin.us/) for any disputes. You agree to waive any rights to a jury trial and to bring claims only in your individual capacity. Any recovery from MTJ is limited to the amount of commission and fees received by MTJ. You also waive any right to participate in class or representative actions.

 

11. MISCELLANEOUS: Each provision of these Terms is severable from the others. If any provision is deemed invalid or unenforceable by a court, the remaining provisions remain in effect. The headings in these Terms are for convenience and do not affect their interpretation. These Terms constitute the entire agreement between you and MTJ, superseding all prior agreements and representations.
